Foreword
Legislative Decree No. 82 of May 27, 2022 implemented Directive (EU) 2019/882 of the European Parliament and of the Council of April 17, 2019 on accessibility requirements for products and services.
Guidelines on accessibility of services, implementing Article 21 of Legislative Decree No. 82/2022.
The decree was published in the Official Gazette (General Series No. 152 of 01-07-2022) and came into effect on July 16, 2022, but its provisions are effective as of June 28, 2025.

Compatibility status with requirements

- On individual pages, a parent element is missing corresponding child elements. This can confuse screen reader users, as they expect content that is not there.
- On individual pages there are scrollable elements that cannot be scrolled with the keyboard. This makes it difficult for assistive technology users to grasp the entire page.
- On a page there are buttons, links, or ARIA menu items without labeling. Navigation with screen readers to these items is difficult.
- On almost all pages, lists of descriptions are incorrectly structured. As a result, explanations and headings of descriptions are not displayed correctly and are not reproduced correctly by assistive technologies.
- On almost all pages, explanations and description headings are not surrounded by a description list element. As a result, explanations and description headings are not recognized as such and reproduced correctly by assistive technologies.
- There are lists on all pages that contain items that do not belong in the lists. As a result, lists may not be reproduced correctly by assistive technologies.
